Bargello Museum Masterpieces Tour

Explore the ground-floor rooms, which house Tuscan 16th-century works, focusing in particular on four masterpieces by Michelangelo: Bacchus, the relief depicting the Madonna with Child, Brutus, and David-Apollo.
Then see works by Andrea Sansovino, Jacopo Sansovino, Baccio Bandinelli, Bartolomeo Ammannati, Benvenuto Cellini, and Giambologna, including his admirable Mercury. There are many other treasures as well: works of art enriched by the Carrand, Ressman, and Franchetti collections, from ivories that include several Roman and Byzantine examples to medieval glazes and porcelain from Limoges, German and French gold works, Renaissance jewels, and even Islamic examples of bronze works.
Continue to the second floor, dedicated to the glazed terracottas by Andrea and Giovanni Della Robbia, in addition to displaying Verrocchio's bronze David and Lady with Posy, as well as an extraordinary collection of busts.
