The itinerary

Day 01

Rainbow Mountain and Vilcanota Valley Excursion

Leave Cusco early in the morning and travel by bus for approximately 3 and a half hours.
Travel through the Vilcanota Valley and visit the surrounding small towns.
Take a short break for breakfast in a local family home.
Walk for approximately 3 hours uphill through the landscape and past the homes of the Andes' inhabitants.
Rest for some time upon reaching Cerro Colorado.
Begin the 3-hour descent.
Savour a delicious lunch.

Return to Cusco.
