The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Ulaanbaatar and City Views

Your tour guide and driver will pick you up from the airport and check you in to your hotel.
The tour visits the Main Square and Zaisan Hill, where you can enjoy a great view of the city.
Enjoy Mongolian food for dinner.

Day 02

Journey to Karakorum and Erdene Zuu Monastery

You will be picked up in the morning and driven to Karakorum, the former capital of Genghis Khan's Mongolian Empire, which was almost entirely destroyed by the Ming Dynasty in the 14th century.
In Karakorum, the tour visits the Karakorum Museum and the famous Erdene Zuu Monastery, founded in 1586 and the oldest centre of Yellow Buddhism in Mongolia.
You have the option to join the Buddhist monks in prayer.

Day 03

Central Mongolia Sand Dunes and Nomadic Stay

In the morning, the tour heads to the sand dunes, a small part of the Gobi Desert found in the middle of central Mongolia.
You will stay with nomads and have the option to ride camels and horses.
In the evening, the group drives back to Ulaanbaatar city.
