Day 1: From Cancún to Chichén Itzá – Mayan Beginnings
- The journey begins with a departure from Cancún on a shared tour heading south towards the ancient coastal site of Tulum, a dramatic Mayan city built on cliffs overlooking the Caribbean Sea.
- Explore the ruins of Tulum while learning about its strategic role in the ancient Mayan trade routes connecting Central America and the wider region.
- Continue inland to Cobá, once one of the largest and most influential Mayan cities in the Yucatán Peninsula, connected by an extensive network of ancient sacbeob roads.

Travellers discover its elegant colonial architecture, vibrant streets, and rich local culture that reflects both Spanish and Mayan heritage.
The journey continues towards Izamal, a picturesque yellow-painted colonial town known for its peaceful atmosphere and historical significance.
Visitors explore the historic convent in Izamal, which features one of the largest atriums in the world after St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican.
After completing the visit, travellers return by shared transport to Cancún, where the tour services conclude.
