This is a beautiful and easy itinerary in the Maddalene mountains, mostly flat and suitable for all levels. The route passes by as many as six alpine huts, where it is often possible to find shelter in areas that are always open. Along the way, you'll encounter wide open spaces and stunning panoramic views in the border area between Trentino and South Tyrol, between Val di Non and Val d'Ultimo, at an average altitude of around 1,800 meters-among mountains that remain largely untouched by mass tourism.

Day 01

Maddalene Huts Loop Hike

Our itinerary passes by no fewer than six beautiful alpine huts - Malga Lauregno at 1,780 m, Malga Monte Ori, Malga Castrin, Malghetto di Cloz, Malga di Revò, and Malga di Cloz - where you can stop for a drink or a snack. The trail includes some gentle uphill sections, several flat stretches across alpine pastures, and a few easy descents. The total distance is approximately 10 kilometers.

This is a moderately demanding hike, and a shorter version of the route is also available.
