Full-Day Mokoro Excursion in Okavango Delta
- Begin your day with an early morning departure at around 7:30 am from your lodge in Maun after a light breakfast and transfer to the mokoro station.
- Meet your experienced poler and receive a short safety briefing before setting off through the tranquil channels of the Okavango Delta.
- Glide silently through narrow waterways lined with reeds and water lilies while taking in the pristine scenery and observing birdlife, aquatic species, and animal tracks.
- Arrive at one of the Delta’s islands and enjoy a guided nature walk, exploring the flora and fauna while tracking wildlife such as antelope and observing smaller species up close.
