São Bento Railway Station, home to one of the most iconic azulejo panels in Portugal, illustrating key moments of Portuguese history
Capela das Almas (Chapel of Souls), famous for its striking blue-and-white tiled façade
Igreja de Santo Ildefonso, featuring monumental azulejo panels overlooking Batalha Square
Porto Cathedral (Sé do Porto), where the cloister displays traditional azulejo scenes with religious and historical themes
Traditional tiled façades in the historic center, offering insight into everyday urban azulejo decoration
Throughout the walk, the guide explains the symbolism, artistic styles, and evolution of azulejos from the 15th century to modern times, with frequent stops for storytelling, observation, and photography.
The pace is relaxed and suitable for all travelers interested in culture, art, and local heritage.
