    • On this tour, we will walk through the city alleys, starting from the Palazzo dei Diamanti, a beautiful Renaissance masterpiece. 
    • We will admire Quadrivio Degli Angeli (The Angels’ crossroad), a palace with a façade covered by 8000 marble ashlars in a pyramid shape that is located at the centre of the most important crossroad of Ferrara. 
    • Later, leaving the 16th century behind us, we will move towards the Middle Ages and make our way to one of Ferrara's best-known monuments: the Este Family Castle, with moat and towers dating back to 1385. These have been renewed over the centuries as a court residences with marble balconies, a terrace, and a beautiful courtyard. 
    • Not far away from this castle, there is the 12th-century cathedral complex for us to explore. The ground level of the cathedral's south side faces the town square, Piazza Trento e Trieste. It is occupied by the unique Loggia dei Merciai (Merchants’ Loggia) with medieval shops that we will get to browse through. 
    • We will also pass by the narrow streets and alleys of the Ancient Jewish Ghetto, a historic city area. 
    • Finally, we will make our way around Ferrara's city walls, the perfect point to end the tour and beloved by citizens for its magical atmosphere.
