Explore Turkey's world-famous attractions in Istanbul, Cappadocia, Konya and Pamukkale, among others, on this long vacation. The major attractions of your tour will be Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace in Istanbul, the Anatolia Museum, the Goreme Open-Air Museum in Cappadocia, and the House of Virgin Mary in Ephesus. Additionally, you will learn about the whirling dervishes at the Mevlana Museum, enjoy a Bosphorus cruise and stroll through Turkey's Grand Bazaar.

  • Day 1: Istanbul expand_more
    • Meet the tour guide upon your arrival in Istanbul and transfer to the hotel.

    Overnight in Istanbul.

  • Day 2: Istanbul City Tour expand_more
    • Start the city tour with a visit to the Hippodrome, where chariot races and the Byzantine riots occurred. 
    • Move on to the Blue Mosque, facing Hagia Sophia, famous for its blue Iznik tiles and unique six minarets built in the name of Sultan Ahmet.
    • Visit Hagia Sophia, which is undoubtedly one of the greatest architectural creations in the world used as a church and mosque and serves as a museum today. 
    • Stop at Oalmoço and visit the Topkapi Palace, which was the imperial residence of the Ottoman sultans. Today, it has sections exhibiting Chinese porcelain, weapons, calligraphy, Ottoman treasure, etc.
    • By the end, spend free time in Grand Bazaar, the oldest and the largest covered market in the world, with about 4,000 shops filled with rich memories collections.
    • After the visits, transfer back to your hotel.
  • Day 3: Explore More Highlights in Istanbul expand_more
    • Begin your tour with a visit to the Spice Bazaar (Egyptian Bazaar), surrounded by mystical smells of different aromas of various spices. Visit shops selling fruits, vegetables, flowers, fish, etc. 
    • Cruise on the Bosphorus through the strait separating the two continents, Europe and Asia. Take pictures of ancient marble palaces, such as the Yalis in Ottoman architecture with wood residential apartments of luxury and modernity.
    • After lunch, visit Camlica Hill, the highest point in Istanbul. At the hilltop, rest and admire Istanbul's magnificent panoramic views and the Bosphorus while roaming within beautiful gardens.
    • On the Asian side, visit the Beylerbeyi Palace, which Sultan Abdul Aziz built as a summer palace. This palace was also used to receive diplomatic guests to Istanbul during the 19th century.
    • At the end of the tour, transfer back to your hotel.
  • Day 4: Istanbul - Ankara - Cappadocia expand_more
    • Have your morning breakfast and transfer to the airport for departure to Ankara.
    • Upon arrival, visit the Museum of Civilizations of Anatolia and the spectacular mausoleum of Atatürk, which shows us how Turkey was founded.
    • After lunch, leave for Cappadocia by bus. You will visit one of the underground cities in the region.
    • Arrive at your hotel to have dinner and rest.
  • Day 5: Cappadocia expand_more
    • Have your morning coffee at the hotel and go on a guided tour of the region, starting with the outdoor Museum Göreme, where you will see several chapels carved on the rocks. Among them, you will find signs of St. George of Cappadocia.
    • Save the day for other tours of the picturesque valleys with beautiful scenery, which are believed to be fairy chimneys.
    • Visit Uçhisar village, a great spot to capture beautiful photos. During the day, visit some centres of handicrafts and rugs and jewellery manufacturers.
    • At the end of the day's tour, return to the hotel to rest and have dinner. 
  • Day 6: Cappadocia - Konya - Pamukkale expand_more
    • In the early hours of the morning, have a tour of the beautiful balloon ride and fly over Cappadocia (optional). This tour takes place along with the sunrise.
    • Leave early towards Konya. On the way, visit the caravanserai of Sultanhani, an old building which looks like a hotel designed to house merchants and their camels. This particular one was built in the 13th century and is part of an extensive network of caravanserais built throughout the Middle East and Central Asia.
    • From there, follow the biblical city of Konya - City of Dervishes. Visit the Mevlana Museum to understand life and day-to-day dervishes.
    • Have lunch on the way and proceed to Pamukkale where you can have dinner at the hotel.
  • Day 7: Pamukkale (Hierapolis) - Izmir expand_more
    • In the morning, explore Pamukkale - the ancient city of Hierapolis, where the Broncos terraces of limestone exist. This day will be the most relaxing due to Pamukkale's hot springs. You will have free time to soak in the "old pool" located between the ruins of the ancient city of Hierapolis, surrounded by hot springs.
    • Depart towards Sirince, near Ephesus, an ancient Greek village which is believed to be one of the two protected establishments during the end of the world as per the Mayan Calendar.
    • Proceed to Izmir.
  • Day 8: Izmir - Ephesus - Istanbul expand_more
    • Leave the hotel early for Ephesus.
    • Visit the outdoor Museum of Ephesus, the Basilica of St. John and the House of Virgin Mary, where she lived during her last years.
    • Stop for lunch. After lunch, visit a leather factory shop, which is famous for fashion shows.
    • Later, transfer to Izmir airport and return to Istanbul.
    • Upon arrival in Istanbul, head back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
  • Day 9: Final Departure expand_more
    • Depart for the Istanbul airport right after breakfast.
