Start the tour by exploring the most sights in the city. First, we visit the madrassas (religious schools), where tourists will learn about and recognize the beauty of Moorish architecture.
Then, as we continue walking through the amazing streets of Medina, we will stop by important landmarks such as the Karaouine University, the shrine of the founder of the city, and also Wood or Al-Najjarin Museum which is located nearby the famous fountain of the same name.
In the afternoon, we walk through the Jewish quarter of the city and visit the synagogue as well as some centres of handicrafts like the tanneries and looms. Your tour guide will instruct you on the importance of these centres in commerce and also their cultural import.
