  • Day 1: Amman - Madaba – Mount Nebo – Baptism Site – Dead Sea expand_more
    • Meet the tour guide, who will pick you up at the airport and start the Madaba tour. This is the day you follow the way and stop at the highlights that define Jordan as a part of the Holy Land. The 'city of mosaics' has more biblical sites than you can imagine; here is a taste of what is in and around Madaba:
      • St. George Church: In the heart of Madaba, with a map of the old Holy land documenting all cities, it is a 2nd-century beauty that speaks history. The icons on the walls inspire the Orthodox spirit of the church (a must-see).
      • Martyrs Church: In the back corner of St. George's Church is this amazing site with so much history.
      • Catholic Church: Recognized by the Vatican in 1976, it became a visited site by both tourists and pilgrims. This church comes with a museum, bell tower, tunnels, mosaics, whatever you name it, and a Moabite well dating to 3000 years ago.
      • Kherbet Almukhayyat: Located in between Madaba and Mount Nebo is one of the hidden jewels of Jordan, a 6th-century church with the most beautiful storytelling piece of mosaic ever.
      • Apostles Church: The 6th-century structure with mosaic floors and a unique building. This landmark marks the beginning of the king's way as it exists today.
    • Go to Mount Nebo. A cliff 710 meters above sea level overlooking Jericho and Jerusalem on a clear day is this site with a church dating back to the 4th century for the memory of Prophet Moses, the place in the Bible where it mentioned that Moses was granted a view of the promised land. It comes with a museum, too and some mosaic work that's outstanding.
    • Visit the Baptism Site. Located 7 km to the north of the Dead Sea is the actual baptism site of Jesus Christ, Bethany, beyond Jordan; at this point, Jesus met with his cousin John to be baptized. There is a shrine with a mosaic floor, and the site was visited by several popes, ending with Pope Francis.
    • Witness the beauty of the Dead Sea. The Dead Sea is a whole other story on its own. Being so close to floating on top of the water rather than being in it is something that's strange to our nature; grab your favourite magazine and read it comfortably while you float, and don't forget your mud bath, slip into your younger skin once more.
    • Return to Amman for the overnight stay.
  • Day 2: Visit Petra expand_more
    • Start early from Amman, heading to Petra, to arrive there after 3.5-hour's of driving to visit Petra, and enjoy a min. of 8 hours tour to the site. Petra is the capital of Edom. The rosy red charm carved in the sandstone mountains of Wadi Musa is evidence of the connection between the old cultures. The city will have an effect on you like a child in a candy shop. The marvellous colours and atmosphere of the Siq as if time stood still, you don't actually walk down the path more like gliding, and as it opens itself wide to the site of the treasury, it will hit you like an Indiana Jones movie scene and a secret hidden for thousands of years, and a sight like no other. Taking the steps up to the Monastery is long and tiring, but when there, you can only say "Top of the World" no less! A cup of tea at the view up there with the fresh breeze around sunset will be priceless.
    • Go to Little Petra to complete the picture about the culture that built this amazing city, discover a 4000-year-old winery and the drawings from before the clock started to tick, a must-see wonder of the world.
    • Before nightfall, pick up the road again towards Wadi Rum.
    • Head to your camp for a Zarb dinner and get ready for an adventure to see the enormous amount of stars you have seen. On a clear night without the moon, it is also possible to see the Milky Way.
  • Day 3: Wadi Rum - Dead Sea expand_more
    • Have a 2-hour 4x4 ride in the vastness of the most tranquil place you have ever been to; after that, be on the way along the Great Rift Valley to arrive at the lowest point on earth.
    • Enjoy your lunch, a swim and a mud bath at the Dead Sea.
    • Return to Amman or the airport.
