  • Day 1: Madaba - Mount Nibo - Baptism Site - Dead Sea - Petra expand_more
    • Meet the tour guide at the airport (or hotel or any other desired location) and visit Madaba. The city of mosaics has more biblical sites than you can imagine. Here is a taste of what is in and around Madaba.
      • St. George Church: In the heart of Madaba, with a map of the old Holy land documenting all cities, is a 2nd-century beauty that speaks history. The icons on the walls inspire the Orthodox spirit of the church, a must-see!
      • The Martyrs Church: In the back corner of St. George's Church is this amazing site with so much history.
      • The Catholic Church: Recognized by the Vatican in 1976, it became a visited site by both tourists and pilgrims. This church comes with a museum and bell tower, which is amazing. Tunnels, mosaics, you name it, along with a Moabite well dating to 3000 years ago.
      • Kherbet Almukhayyat: Located in between Madaba and Mount Nebo is one of the hidden jewels of Jordan, a 6th-century church with the most beautiful storytelling piece of mosaic ever.
      • Apostles Church: The 6th-century structure with mosaic floors and a unique building, this landmark, as significant as it is, is also the landmark marking the beginning of the king's way as it exists today.
    • Head to Mount Nibo. A cliff 710 meters above sea level overlooking Jericho and Jerusalem on a clear day is this site with a church dating back to the 4th century for the memory of Prophet Moses, the place in the Bible where it mentioned that Moses was granted a view of the promised land. It also comes with a museum and some outstanding mosaic work.
    • Visit the Baptism Site and enjoy the tour in the area of the Jordan River. At this point, Jesus met with his cousin John to be baptized. Located 7 km to the north of the Dead Sea is the actual baptism site of Jesus Christ, Bethany beyond the Jordan. At this point, Jesus met with his cousin John to be baptized. There is a shrine with a mosaic floor, and the site was visited by several popes, ending with Pope Francis.
    • Head on to the road to arrive at the lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea. The Dead Sea is a whole other story on its own; being so close to floating on top of the water rather than being in it is something that's strange to our nature. Grab your favourite magazine, read it comfortably while you float, and don't forget your mud bath. Slip into your younger skin once more!
    • Go to the grand canyon of Jordan, Wadi Al Mujib.
    • Proceed to Petra for an overnight stay.
  • Day 2- Learn About the Site of Petra expand_more
    • Start early from the hotel in Petra to visit the site and enjoy a minimum of 8 hours tour of the site. Petra is the capital of Edom. The rosy red charm carved in the sandstone mountains of Wadi Musa is evidence of the connection between the old cultures. The city will have an effect on you like a child in a candy shop. The marvellous colours and atmosphere of the Siq are as if time stood still; you don't actually walk down the path, it's more like gliding, and as it opens itself wide to the site of the treasury, it will hit you like an Indiana-Jones-movie scene and a secret hidden for thousands of years, a sight like no other. Taking the steps up to the Monastery is long and tiring, but when you reach there, you can say "top of the world" and no less. A cup of tea at the view up there with the fresh breeze around sunset will be priceless.
    • Go to little Petra to complete the picture of the culture that built this amazing city. Discover a 4000-year-old winery and the drawings from before the clock started to tick. It is a must-see wonder of the world.
    • Return to Amman in the evening.
