    • Then head to Galatina (by the car) to the Pasticceria Ascalone, where Pasticciotto cake was invented.
    • Guided tour to the beauties of Galatina and its wonderful historic centre, where are located the St. Catherine Basilica - second only to the one in Assisi because of its frescos (XIII century), St. Paul Chapel, famous for the phenomenon of the Tarantate and the Mother Church.
    • Lunch break at sea and visit to Gallipoli in the afternoon.
    • Walking tour in the narrow and windy streets of the historic centre of the sea town, situated on a rock in the sea filled with wonderful churches (St. Agatha, Purity, and St. Francis) and monuments in "Gallipolino" baroque style
