This was a special holiday for us as we were celebrating big birthdays and Esala - our guide - was everything we hoped for. He is extremely knowledgeable and took time to make sure we understood all of the history and culture of this fabulous country. He made some great recommendations regarding trips and visits and accessed tickets for the observation carriage of the train up to the tea country and ensured we visited the numerous attractions at times to avoid the crowds. We ate with Esala in several occasions and enjoyed his company. I would not hesitate to recommend him of the company for a custom tour. 

We were only in Sri Lanka for a week so we only saw a fraction of the Island , but what we did see was beautiful . Esala was great , helpful and knowledgable and took us to see things we would never have seen if we were alone .
