it has come to my attention that my guide for Hormuz and Qeshm islands, Farahnaz Shahnameh, and our drivers, have not been paid for their services. the tour ended WEEKS ago!!! Roham from Shirdal Airya accused her of many untrue things and therefore withheld payment as a result - i find it absolutely ridiculous. i have already PAID the tour agency cash in full. once ive paid, the tour is up to ME to decide what i want to do and NOT want to do. i dont need to inform the tour company on the changes I MAKE - yet they expect that we inform them!?
i made all the decisions to change hotels and itinerary according to my mood and how tired im feeling that day - it shouldnt matter as long as everything falls within the 8hrs a day ive paid for. extra charges for extra activities have been paid by me. i dont see why there is a problem?
why was my guide blamed for things she DID NOT do wrong???
also communication was slack between tour agency and me - they did not give me information abt my tour pickup timings and a number to call UNTIL I CHASED them for it. the only time they were communicative was picking up money from me.
my guide is a freelance guide and doesnt fall under this horrible tour agent’s full time employment so ill recommend her anytime! just Shirdal Airya should be avoided at all costs!
when i confronted Roham on whatsapp he said hes paid my guide but when i asked for proof he ignored my texts. til this day my guide is still not paid but he took 240euros from me!
