What a great tour we had today!  Rony pointed out several birds, a baby monkey, and plants that we wouldn't have noticed without his keen eye.  Not only was he able to spot things in the moment, but he also had a great knowledge of the park to be able to point things out that he knew were probably going to be there.  A hummingbird in its nest was a highlight for my wife.  Monkeys swinging from trees and seeing a mother and baby monkey together were a highlight for my son.  Rony shared many stories about the area, allowed us time to make sure our son had a good time, and was constantly asking what else he could do to make the trip better.

It was one of the best guided tours that we have had a group during this vacation. We were a big group of around 10 people and he manage to make us all feel like we had an Indiana-Johns-kind-of  lesson adventure with even customs matching the experience, lol. But overall he was really knowledgeable about all the creatures found deep in the forezt. super friendly and great patient with each one of us. I recommend this guide, we did not have such great experience since we made this guided experience. Thank you so much Rony. 

My wife and I had some outstanding time with Rony Castro during a January2018 visit to Costa Rica. He guided us to some exceptional birding and beautiful locations.

We greatly appreciate his professionalism, and as a knowledgeable naturalist and competent and personable guide I don’t think you could do any better. His excitement and passion about the natural world and dedication to his profession and ecology is wonderful and important. He knows the animals (including the insects), plants and habitats very, verywell, and is really enjoyable to spend field time with. He is also well acquainted with and has a great working relationship with other expert guides. This is a real benefit in zeroing in on particular birds and other animals. A very memorable time birding with him and a great time overall!
