We booked Anthony through Tour HQ on the assumption that this was the driver (and related reviews) that we were getting. That was not the case. Anthony greeted us at the airport, told us about his tour company, and handed us over to Dinesh to be our driver for our tour.
The tour with Dinesh was great and he was super friendly - lots of stops on long drives to be shown various tropical plants / wildlife, he arranged an excellent safari in Udawalawe where we saw lots of elephants, various birds etc., took us to a couple of fruit and veg markets, booked train tickets for a short journey between Haputale and Nanu Oya, managed to find all of our off the beaten track hotels, and taught us a great deal about the Sri Lankan culture and people... there was the usual managing expectations re excursions that we did/didn't want to do, as to be expected.
3 stars is on the basis that this site is clearly being used in a misleading way to advertise a tour company, and hence we did not get the driver we were expecting (kind of like booking a hotel on tripadvisor, turning up, and it's a completely different hotel...). There were some issues with communication (mainly language, both Dinesh and Anthony were very responsive by Whatsapp), but overall we had a great time in Sri Lanka and would 100% go back (if not to just take in the country rather than jump around from place to place).

if you can please have a look on our comments on tip adviser.we do our service in our best. as well as if you have a any problem with hotels,please write it on their sites.it's not my issues.you booked hotels by your self.not with me. by the way i really thank you because you join with us & Thanks for your valuable comments . best regards Anthony srilanka Less

What a great tour, really went into the locals lives. Had a bull cart ride, a native boat ride, native lunch in a hut, saw a great woodcarver, this tour was our favorite. Even a tuk-tuk ride. Anthony got it all in for us and was a great fun guide. Would hire him again for a great tour.
