Ms Fumiko is a thoughtful and diligent guide who makes sure that your likes are met even with a limited time.  She takes time to offer trivia and historical information on the places that are visited. The restaurants she brought us to were places that offered the freshest sea food and were not tourist traps.  We enjoyed her services in our first trip to Japan so much that we specifically asked for her to guide our 2nd trip to Japan.   If you let her know ahead of time what you prefer to see or shop for, she will make sure to research on it. 

I spent a super day with Fumiko-san in Hakodate - she is well informed, patient and shared with me many interesting nuggets about Hakodate - beyond what one would find in books or online. I would highly recommend her as a travel guide anytime!
