I know much of the world loves packaged tours, but not me. Whenever possible I prefer to hire a private guide. Ahmed is among the best that I've worked with in years. He was knowledgeable and flexible and built the tour around my interests. While I have been in Morocco and Algeria, this was my first visit in Tunis. Since I was a kid I have been intrigued with Hannibal and wanted to see the ruins of Carthage firsthand. The tour of the Bardo museum and the hike around the former Capitol of Dougga were memorable. Our two days together went too fast.

Ahmed is a very experienced guide and well prepared. He gave us a lot of interesting insights on Tunisian culture and history, plus he was very nice, flexible and able to meet our needs (we were travelling with children).

A wonderful tour with Ahmed in the Medina of Tunis. Ahmed is a wonderful guide, patient, kind and full of knowledge. We learned a lot from him, he is very friendly and from the very beginning we felt in his company as if we were with a friend. We learned a lot about Medina, religion, culture and customs in Tunisia.
