We are a group of friends  above the age of 65 who travelled around the world extensively. During our travels we utilized the services of many good guides and travel companies. But after traveling with Bjorn and Norway Fjord travel ,I have to say that the best among others comes way behind Bjorn. He is undoubtedly the BEST.We always wanted to see Norway and our planning started in December. I had interacted with many guides but the moment I started my communication with Bjorn I knew that he is the right guy and after completing the tour I can confidently say that the end result is much beyond our expectations.

I sent him our itinerary with my knowledge( acquired from the net)and he fine tuned it to suit us to have a good experience. He advised us regarding the hotels and in a couple of places ,where we could not get a proper accommodation ,he helped us to get accommodation for in good places. His knowledge of Norway is immense- be it scenic roads, view points, history, culture, economy . He drove us for 9 days from May 27 to June 4th through enchanting Norway. He knew the lesser travelled roads with stunning sceneries. In Bergen we went with him into the Fjords in a RIB. He took us through Fjords into which the big ships were not able  go. We had the greatest time of our  lives during that ride. We went literally under a waterfall. If it was not for him we would have missed out some incredible parts. He is punctual & jovial. He is observant and sensitive to the needs, comforts and discomforts of travelers and tries his best to make everyone comfortable and at ease . His commentary mixed with humor during the journey about the scenic landscapes, made the journey interesting. Norway is a very beautiful country with Fjords, mountains, waterfalls and the pleasure of seeing it enhanced many fold, thanks to Bjorn and Norway Fjord travel.

Bjorn loves his work and that makes it very exciting to be on a trip with him. He knows the niches to go to and things to do (that make for great memories) and we are very thankful to him for that. 

This might just be the best welcome we have got anywhere. We got clear meeting point instructions and found our driver waiting at the luggage conveyor belt. As we had only booked a transfer, the born and bred Guide gave us a detour to see a few of the highlights surrounding Bergen on the way in to our city centre hotel. And so good tips that we could very fine made a tour by ourselves the next day.We were concidering the famous Norway in a Nutshell, but hauling luggage from train to bus and bus to boat did not seem tempting when we studyed the travelroute. So we asked if the driver also where able to assist us the next day. And he made the arrangements. And there is only one thing to say: Book them.......Bjorn gave us thrilling insight in both Viking history and the modern oil propelled economy. We actually took a stop at the Mongstad reffinery that is much more intressting than a collection of old churches. Here we saw how oil production is done, providing valuable insight to the 2018 Norway, while the few next hours we got deep inside the fjords where the Viking settlements used to be. All day with a extremely entertaining guide that is Norwegian and knows his history.We deeply recommend Norway Fjord Travel and wished we had one more day to spend in stead of going to Oslo where we are now. Bergen and its vicinity is way more intressting from our perspective, and people should use the capital merely for getting in and out.Bjorn, thanks one more time for the wonderful time you gave us.
