We spent 8 days with Mehmet and experienced more of Eastern Turkey than most anyone on the planet. Places that we would not have seen going on our own. Mehmet's knowledge of his country and of each site was detailed and presented in a way that we understood and enjoyed. We had a medical emergency at 9:30PM. Met him in the lobby where he already had found out where to take us. Brought us to a private hospital ER and was INVALUABLE as a translator to the Dr & nurses. After the emergency passed we told him that he could go back to the hotel and we would take a cab back but he would have none of it & stayed past midnight to take us back. We will cherish these experiences for the rest of our lives. The best thing is that we left Turkey having a new friend.

My friend and I, both avid travelers with a passion for history, archaeology, and anthropology, set out on a five-day journey through Türkiye, guided by the incredible Mehmet. From Kayseri through the otherworldly landscapes of Cappadocia, weaving through the heart of Anatolia with unexpected and delightful stops, on to the majestic Mount Nemrut, and finally to the ancient wonder of Göbeklitepe and the soulful city of Şanliurfa – every leg of our journey was filled with ease and rich knowledge. Mehmet’s deep understanding of Türkiye’s history, culture, and hidden gems turned this into a journey far beyond our expectations. What made this trip truly special was the “extra” layer Mehmet brought to every day. He has a unique way of embroidering an additional lushness to the Anatolian cloth, whether through handpicked music that immersed us in Turkish culture, exceptional breakfast stops, or those spontaneous side trips to intriguing, lesser-known spots. We also found it easy to create a rapport with Mehmet, we had a lot of fun and there was a joyful lightness to the journey. Perhaps the most precious part of traveling with Mehmet was how he made us feel more than just tourists or travelers. He helped us experience the region as if we were locals, creating moments that felt beautifully genuine and unpolished. Even a simple petrol station stop would be interesting. The most unforgettable highlight was a breakfast shared with his family at his parents’ home, where we were welcomed, introduced to family members, and immersed in the warmth of Turkish hospitality. This journey was rich beyond measure, deeply enriching in ways we hadn’t imagined. We couldn’t have been more fortunate to have had Mehmet as our guide. With an open heart, we wholeheartedly recommend him and hold a powerful wish that we’ll have the chance to explore with him again one day.

Mehmet made this 5-day trip the experience of a lifetime. From the moment I booked this tour he was attentive and checking in to ensure that my (our) requirements are met. He is an extremely knowledgeable guide and his love for his country and what he does shines through. I generally prefer to travel by myself but this experience might have changed my mind. Mehmet allowed us to follow our own pace, sometimes faster and sometimes slower. He was not just a guide, he became a treasured friend. I cannot thank him enough and recommend him for anyone wanting a wonderful experience.

Mehmet was our guide for three wonderful days in Trabzon and he did an excellent job honestly. His knowledge and kind approach made the tours really enjoyable. I cannot recommend him enough!
