I was traveling alone while waiting on friends to arrive in Marrakech. I wanted to find a female guide to help me explore the Medina, its history, the culture of the community and introduce me to navigating the old city and souqs. I also wanted the perspective of a woman.  Noura El Kacimi was a rare find in so many ways.  Her depth of knowledge was exceptional. Noura has a passion for her home, it’s history and culture.  I affectionately came to call her “The Lady Guide” as she was referred to that way by the souq vendors, restaurant owners and artisans with affection. She had their respect. I was very fortunate to have Noura with me at the get go - Marrakech and the old city are not easy to navigate and it is a place of sensory overload.  Once friends arrived we hired Noura daily…and several of them had been to Marrakech several times!  She introduced us to  ‘authenticity’, we ate marvelous food in non -tourist destinations, visited Berber Villages on day excursions, and stopped along the way to come to know the landscape, architecture and the nuances we would have never known if not for her knowledge. Noura is a pleasure. She is tireless and accommodating. When our trips required a car the vehicles and the drivers were top notch. I enthusiastically recommend Noura El Kacimi to any group of travelers. In particular if you are a lone traveler- find Noura EL Kacimi. In October of 2019, my husband and I traveled from California to Spain and then to Morocco.  Noura was our tour guide, and we had a very limited amount of time in Marrakech.   Noura was great, as we were constantly updating our travel plans and she took it all in stride and worked with us to accomodate our needs.  Noura has a very deep understanding of history, art history, and overall cultural studies.  We enjoyed our tours with her very much!

We had very limited time, but wanted to see as much as possible. Working with Noura, she was able to come up with a trip plan for our visit that worked everything in. She was a fountain of knowledge about everything -- the important sights, the history, the people and customs. Morocco is an incredibly beautiful country, with so much history -- I don't think we could have seen and learned as much as we did if it hadn't been for Noura. She also arranged for a terrific driver, and the two of them took such good care of us -- we truly never worried about a thing. Noura made our trip not just memorable, but enlightening as well as fun. Can't say enough good things about her!

Day 1: Noura was an exceptional guide giving us a delightful evening of tastes and smells of Moroccan dishes until we were totally stuffed. It was ourfirst day in Morocco and she is a wonderful person. This tour set the stage fora great Moroccan holiday.

Day 2: This tour was our second of four consecutive days touring with Noura. She is an exceptionally knowledgeable and delightful person to be with. She tailored this excursion to our desires and abilities making for a greatexperience visiting Berber villages and a Berber home for a fabulous authentic lunch. Do not hesitate to book with this exceptional guide.

Days 3&4: We used Noura for two prior tours, an evening food tour and HighAtlas Berber village tour. These last two days with Noura rounded out our Marrakech holiday letting us feel like we really had a complete experience during our short holiday. First, Noura is a delightful and open person with a wealth of knowledge. She communicates well and was adaptable to our needs andwishes. If we return we will certainly use her again. None could be better.
