A great experience!

Reviewed July 3, 2018

My wife and I spent five full days with Greg exploring Cape Town and its surroundings. Greg and I discussed by email, months prior to the trip,  what we would do. Greg was always quick to answer and provided detailed information. During the trip, Greg was always in a great mood, knowledgable about the areas we visited, and brought us to places only locals would know! Greg was always on time and did not hesitate to stay longer than scheduled to make sure our exeprience was top notch! We even spent time on the computer working on some pictures I shot. Our trip included tours of the winery, Cape Town, hiking to the top of Table Mountain, and visiting other local cities. Hiring Greg for our trip was money well spent and we would definitely re-hire him if in Cape Town again.

7 Stars out of 5

Reviewed July 1, 2018

To say that I was skeptical when I checked Greg's reviews is an understatement.

No one gets 99%+ of 5 Star ratings - unless they write all the reviews themselves :)

Well - this is not written by anyone other than an extremely satisfied and pleased clients.

My object when I originally searched for a guide was for a guide who will take us to all the points that appear in the brochures, and the catalogues, as photographers who one of these days hope to become amateurs - that was our objectives

We used Greg's services for 2 days, one dedicated to Capetown and the Peninsula and the other highlighting the wine country.

days started at Sunrise on Signal Hill, and ended as sunset on Table Mountain,. with surfers, and penguins, and colorful cabins, light houses, and picnics in between. - and that was the first day. 4 vineyards, delicious breakfast & sumptuous lunch highlighted day 2 with the tastings in between.

Few hundred pictures later, some camera setting tips, some out of the way locations filled the day.

Greg, is a soft and well spoken young man, knowledgeable and extremely willing to learn at the same time. A rare find indeed

So definitely 7 stars - potentially even 8 :)

Photo Tour of Cape Town South Africa

Reviewed June 26, 2018

On a recent trip to South Africa my husband and I spent three nights in Cape Town. My husband and I are photo enthusiasts and when we travel, we love to optimize our time seeing as much as possible, and finding the most interesting places to catch the light and grab photos. Knowing we had two full days in a city that was highly recommended to us, but one we knew little about we began our research to find a local photographer that could show us around and also teach us more about photography.

I found Greg online and began communication with him early on letting him know a bit about us and finding out about his style of services. It was easy to make the decision to hire him for our private tour of two full days in the Cape Town area. As soon as we met Greg, we knew our choice of photographers was the right one.

Greg brought us to so many places and our photos are amazing. Penguins and vineyards and Table Mountain, along with shots in neighborhoods that we never would have found. Knowing the locals and where to go is certainly a plus when touring. Staying away from crowds and tourists is a great way to see a new place.

Thank you Greg for a wonderful two days in a city that we never planned on visiting. We were headed on safari and I only expected to be in the bush on our trip to South Africa. The city was more than a pleasant surprise, and  your knowledge of the area and the history of South Africa was appreciated.  Our photos are a great way for us to remember our time and the fun we had while making a new friend.
