Greg and I met just before dawn and set out for a day of sightseeing and photography. It was a wonderful day filled with great spots and amazing conversation. It felt like hangout with a long lost friend. Greg is an incredible guide and great photorgapher. I am looking forward to my next trip.

My Dad, aunt and I all went on half day tour of Cape Town starting just before sunrise with Greg.  Greg was fantastic, he was great at explaining the features of the camera to my Dad and Aunt and unlocking functions in my DSLR I didn't know about, giving us all a lesson in photography as well as a really informative tour about the city and the Cape.    We went on the tour on our first morning in Cape Town and he tailored it to see what we wanted making it a really great way to start our holiday in South Africa,

I went on a Photography Tour of the Cape Peninsula and a Photo Walk in the City with Greg. Cape Town always feels a bit like home to me, as I spent an academic year at the UCT a couple of years ago. So I was looking for a customizable tour that doesn’t simply check off the highlights like a shopping list, but instead allows for a more playful approach to photography and thereby discovering familiar places from a new perspective. Greg gave me very useful tips that really made a difference. He explains the idea behind a certain technique and encourages you to explore and play. Greg patiently answers all questions and assists when necessary.

During our tour we did not only chat about photography and I really appreciated that he also shared his knowledge regarding the history of the region. In retrospect that day made me reconsider my own approach to photography, why I love photography and what I want to do with my camera. Finding Greg turned out to be some kind of serendipity and I can  highly recommend going on a tour with him!

I booked a photo walk in Cape Town as a group tour.  At the end of the summer season it turned out that I was the only participant in this photo walk. However, this Greg only told me the moment we and he did this as an individual tour for me.

My intention was to learn a bit more about photography, but also to hear more about the city and culture.

My expectations were more than fulfilled by Greg. Obviously he knows a lot of photography and I learnt some things which I considered not as possible before and never even tried - and suddenly with good advice it worked.

Besides that Greg knows a lot of real characters in the city. With his pleasant way he was able to involve people into talks which gave me the opportunity to take some great shots.

I can highly recommend to go on a tour with Greg.

I am a frequent traveller and a serious amateur photographer as a hobby, I only had 4 days in Cape Town and I wanted a local guide who would know good photo locations and also to show me around. Fortunately, I found greg who is a photographer and a local tour guide.

Greg was friendly, knowledgeable, and very accommodating to my needs. I got the most out of my short stay with his guidance. And we took some amazing photographs too.

I strongly recommend a photography or just a regular local tour with Greg. You will leave Cape Town feeling like you know it better with a goo set of photographs to remember the trip.
