We toured Kyoto, Nara and Hiroshima  with Mike for 4 days  and had  fantastic days! 

He brought us off the beaten path to see various interesting places. Each destination was attractive, worth the time. Mike was knowledgeable, prepared and enthusiastic and had plenty of stories and information to share. He is also a wonderful  photographer and shared photos during the tours via Google photos. We wish we had booked him in other areas also... our other  days paled in comparison. We learned a lot and had a very enjoyable time - highly recommended.

Mike  is a wonderful guide. He is  friendly and humorous. I booked him for  two days. I had only vague ideas about Nara. He is knowledgeable. I learned so much about Buddhism, Shintoism, and Japan's ancient history. He also told me about the difference between Kyoto and Nara. His explanation is well organized and convincing. I could understand the significance of building Horyuji temple and the introduction of Buddhism. It was interesting and exciting. He said to me. "Tours will be much more fun with historical background "  Now I quite agree with him.  Amazing and fantastic! After spending two days, I learned a lot about Japan.  Thank you, Mike.
