My friend and I met Mohammad via a guest house we were staying at who recommended him when we were looking for a guide and driver to visit some sights outside of Yazd. Mohammad recommended visiting a few other places other than those we had selected as part of our day trip and we enjoyed all of his recommendations very much. Mohammad is a great driver, a fantastic conversationist and has a wonderful sense of humour. He has such an impressive knowledge of Iranian history and patiently answered our endless stream of cultural questions. You really get a sense that Mohammad takes great pride in his profession. We enjoyed our time with Mohammad so much that we asked him to be our guide and driver from Yazd to Shiraz on another occasion, visiting historical sights on the way. Spending time with Mohammad was definitely a highlight of our trip to Iran!

It was in the morning at the reception of our hotel in Yazd. A boy gave me a hand and said “ Iam Mohammad and  Iam your driver for today”. A reflex cross my mind and I thought “ seriously no way”. BUT He turns to be calm, polite, respectful and open for ideas. I had the best time in Iran with him. I forgot to tell you about his historical knowledge of the highlights we visited. His knowledge is up to date. Mohammad thank  you for the wonderful time. Don’t forget, you are doing a great job. Respect for you. You will be my driver again when Iam going to visit Iran again. Iam sure about that. Mohammad, see you soon. Take care.

I had a day tour from yazd to Shiraz.

Mohammed made sure I could visit all the historical sites in between in time. He also gave a lot of information and we had a lot of good conversations on our travels. I became a lot more familiar with Iraniëan culture and habbits while h was also very interested to learn about the my cultural background

I was on a 12-day tour of Central iran last month and was fortunate to have Mohamed Hesani as my driver-guide. I really enjoyed the tour which was customised to my own requests. More importantly, I enjoyed and learnt a lot from Mohamed. He is knowledgeable, kind and calm too. Slightly shy in the beginning, Mohamed soon settled down to a very pleasant rhythm and flexibility throughout the tour.  I think Mohamed has the instinctive sense of care and comfort for the visitor. He also has a deep sense of pride in his country and quietly wishes to share it with visitors in a most informative and comfortable way.  I think he is potentially the 'Jewel in the Crown' of Tour Guides in Iran!  

My husband and I just came from a wonderful trip in Iran and Mohammad was our driver/guide. Together, we visited Shiraz, Persepolis, Naqsh-e Rostam, Yazd, Varzaneh desert, Isfahan, Kashan. Thanks to him, I fell in love with this beautiful country and managed to understand some aspects of Iranian culture which  for an Italian traveller may not be so easy to get. My overall opinion of Mohammad is more than good. Professionally, I can say he is very prepared: he has a deep knowledge of Iranian history and culture and he proved to be ready to face any inconvenience that occurred and solve any problems with a very calm and reassuring attitude. His mission was to make us happy, so he was costantly trying to meet our desires, very often by anticipating our needs as only an experienced guide can do. He was flexible and always ready to modify the schedule according to our requests, or to make suggestions about what he thought it could be worth visiting, even if it was not included in the itinerary (such as when he brought us for a quick visit at Qom on the way back to Tehran - and it was really worth it!).  He is also a perfect driver, we always felt safe with him.  He is very calm, peaceful and generous but also very friendly and  funny when it comes to have a laugh.  In the week together we got really close and now we are still in contact as friends.  Should I go back to Iran - and I hope it will happen someday - I would definitely choose Mohammad again as our guide.
