From the start, I've known that I wasn't coming out of Iran the same man i went in as. However, Ali not only proved knowledgeable and insightful enough to help me develop as a person but he also proved patient enough to let his Persian culture form me. By the time we were in Esfahan (not even halfway through the adventure) the journey was already a success.

Everything that came afterwards with his guidance felt like bonus after bonus. By the time we left Yazd, going to the Tomb of Cyrus, Pasargadae, the necropolis and Persepolis felt like gold bars on top of winning the lottery. I can't stress how important it is to have a guide like him in places one would often not know the culture, customs or language.

I visited Iran in May 2022, Ali was my guide in Yazd and I had the best time with him, he quickly understood my style and my interests and spent a lot of time explaining a lot of details of the Mosque and sharing the best spots for pictures. I don't think I'll forget the information he shared that day. 

Ali is passionate and knowledgable, he has traveled around Iran and knows a lot of fun and interesting facts. 

I feel lucky to have been on a tour with him and want to go back as soon as I can. 

Ali can also arrange different tours, I wanted to paint ceramics, learn pottery and learn about carpets and he and Roya arranged all the things that I wanted to experience in detail. 

From the very beginning of meeting Ali, I knew I would have an awesome trip. He is polite, courteous and has a great sense of humour. I haven't laughed so much on a trip. Ali is also an extremely intelligent gentleman, who has not just ample knowledge about his own country, but alot about other places in the world. He is an avid reader ( he showed me his extensive library when he invited me to his home for a family dinner ). Ali has a remarkable grasp on numbers and facts. Even things I told him or names of people at the beginning of the trip, were sharp in his mind to the very end of the trip two weeks later!

Ali got me safely and promptly to each destination in my two week trip. He made sure I was comfortable, bringing me drinks and having a stock of delicious snacks in his car. He never rushed me and allowed me to take my time for any videos or photographs I was taking at sights. He was also an excellent photographer for pics of me and knew how to capture beautiful angles of the backdrops behind me. They will be photographs I cherish for ever.

We quickly became friends and had long wonderful chats in the car about many different topics which really passed the time for some of those long drives.  We also spent alot of evenings chilling out in hotel yards chatting endlessly about many topics. He also introduced me to his lovely charming wife, Roya, who came with us on our tours in Yazd, their home city. Ali and his wife were kind enough to host me in their family home for lunch. Treating me to home made food and snacks. In their house, we read lots of amazing persian poetry from Hafez and Rumi plus many more interesting literature from their great library.

Roya, Ali's wife, was excellent at organising lovely restaurants last minute. The food was always a fine choice. Roya even managed to secure a booking for a Persian bath house, when the hosts refused initially, saying they were fully booked.

It was truly a pleasure to have met Ali.  I can safely say he will be a lifelong friend and I hope to travel on another adventure with him. If not Iran, we will meet up again somewhere in the middle east, or maybe even Europe!

Please do not hesitate to visit Iran with Ali. He's truly passionate about his country and a great ambassador for Iran. He is a honest person trying to make a living in a very challenging country with hyper inflation and taxes.  

Finally, please do not listen to all the media has to say. I have visited over 40 countries plus and I have never felt safer and more welcome! It would be a great shame if you missed this fantastic country and it's wonderful people.

I made a last minute decision to visit Iran. I visited Iran in March 2022. It was a solo tour with just me and the guide. In Tehran I met Ali Bakhshi, the guide I started the tour with. Then Ali Jadidian for the rest of the tour. They were professional, knowledgeable, friendly, passionate about their country and a mine of information, whether historical, social, political, or cultural. Ali Jadidian, his wife Roya Hasanzaden and Mahdie Hashemian, that I met, were great ambassadors for their country and they worked out all that was needed, organising a dinner in the family too. I learnt so much from them, and to each other about our countries.

I was able to see many different attractions in different cities in a short amount of time; Iran is rich with history, culture and type of foods. The accommodations were more than adequate with various and tasty breakfast and the restaurants were excellent, they were my holidays.

Very wide choice of souvenirs in the bazaars of all kinds from graceful handicrafts, their handcraft men are their treasure. And also non-expensive in main.

Professional organisation and quick, clear and timely communication, competent people and fair prices too. Everything went very well. I have met such wonderful people that showed me around and made me feel more than welcomed. During the trip I felt safe and welcomed all the time. I will have treasured memories forever of this wonderful country.

I highly recommend both Ali Jadidian, and this country! Don’t be influenced by the mainstream and go to visit. You will never regret it. The tour was very informative and although we didn’t had much time, we visited all the sightseeing places and got a detailed information about the places and the cultural background. A perfect guide.
