Aicha is not only one of the best guides, if not the best in her Native Country, she is one of the best guides in Tourism. She is caring, thoughtful and kind to others. She doesn't skip a beat to try to show you everything. She knows the best spots for the little things. She gives 100% of her time to explain EVERYTHING THERE IS TO KNOW, she never tires and is always smiling.                                                                                                      

Aicha Boukari is the best guide ever!

She´s a very very nice person, that answers promptly everything you ask about Tunisia, its history, uses, people, economy, culture, monuments, sites. She´s a quite educated lady that could be teatching at any University. And besides that, with her useful and agreable comments, every tour becames an agreable experience: in the ruins os Carthage, in Al Jem and Sousse, in the medinas of the country, in Dougga, in Said Bou Said, in Matmata, in Tunes, in the berbere villages, in the places where Star Wars was filmed and so one. My family and I had, in her company and her driver, an unforgetable 8 days in that wonderful country. I strongly recommend her services!!!

One of our best private tours ever.  Aicha and her driver made our day a really memorable one. Bardo Museum, Tunis Medina, Carthage and Sidi Bou Saïd would have each been worth a longer visit, but Aicha made the most of our limited time. This tour is highly recommended who  wants to get a taste of Tunisia's capital and its surroundings - great places sadly almost unknown to Europeans and Americans.

Aicha is a miracle worker with both the knowledge and work ethic to make everything go well.  She hired a great driver,  Lassad, who spent hours every day driving us around, even though it was Ramadan.  We had a problem with our hotel and both Aicha and Lassad worked hard to get us into a much better hotel and they helped us to get a refund from our original hotel.

An example of how much they went out of their way for us was on our last day, when we had a Ramadan dinner with some family friends that lived in a town over two hours away.  Lassad wound up driving us back late in the night, which isn't a safe time to be on the road in Tunisia.  He did great and he avoided some hairy situations due to his skill and knowledge.  We were well taken care of.

This kind of service is far above the norm for Tunisia, which I'm sorry to have to state.  You can't go wrong with Aicha or Lassad.

I do recommend tipping the driver each day, no matter who you hire.  What you give them goes a long way.

I did 2 half day tours in Tunis/Carthage and one full day trip to Testour and Dougga with Aicha.  She was fun to spend time with and took lots of photos for me.  She organised car hire with a good driver and made sure I always had water and snacks.  She knows a lot about the ancient history of Tunisia and I really enjoyed the whole experience.
