Chanda is a complete package as far as tour guides go. Super knowledgeable, a friendly, flexible and a sense of humor.

We had a large group of 19 people with bird watchers, photographers and seniors. Chenda tailor-made an itinerary that catered our needs. He accessed our abilities to walk how far and adjust our hiking routes accordingly. As the Tiger Nest trip was challenging for some of us, he gave us a warm-up trip a day before to prepare our leg muscles. Tourist menus usually do not have spicy food. As some of us liked to have hot and spicy dishes, Chenda asked the restaurants to add the "Emma Datshi" chilli cheese dishes for us. The food were healthy with fresh vegetables and at least one meat dish for every meal. The hotels we stayed were clean and comfortable, with beautiful environment and rich Bhutan decorations. He knew a lot about Bhutan. What you want to know about Bhutan, he is always able to tell you. Being a devoted Buddhist, he told us many interesting stories related to Buddhism. He listened to our needs and suggestions and he made our trip a happy and fruitful one. All of us enjoyed our journey.
