Shahid is an excellent guide who clearly knows Lahore, and wider Pakistan, very well.

At every fort, mosque and place of interest that we visited, he seemed to know someone there. If there is door locked to 'normal' tourists, he will know someone that can open it for you to have the best views possible.

Shahid has a very pleasant and calm demeanour, building a rapport with his guests quickly. He is also adept at finding out what truly interests you. My intersts were traditional daily life and architecture, so he led me through the maze of streets in Lahore's Walled City without getting lost once and finding fascinating old buildings to admire.

If I return to Pakistan, I will certainly use Shahid again and recommend him to you without hesitation.

I Meet shahid in a park in Lahore in 2010 where he approached me to show me around. At first I said no as I thought that it's one of the many people coming over to make money but short after talking to him for a while I realized that he was an polite educated guide that wanted to share his city with the visitors. I am so happy to have accepted his offer  as he showed me corners and told me so much about Lahore and Pakistan that I would never have seen or heared with out him. He is an honest polite lovely Person that I can highly recommend. I really felt safe traveling with him. He is to recommend weather you travel in a group , as a couple or alone. 

In the picture below we bought some boiled eggs in a park from one of the people running around selling them. Another little funny thing I wouldn't have found out with our him.

I have travelled to Pakistan in Nov 2013 and again in Nov 2014,Shahid was our guide in Peshawar,Islamabad,Rawalpindi,Murree and Lahore. His knowledge is deep in all these Cities and provinces.I find it astonishing that he is so thoroughly knowledgeble.He would satisfy all our whims and fancies and would alter the set itinerary without any quibble.Need I say that I returned so soon largely due to him.Need I furthermore add that we shall be retuning again in 2015 to Visit Swat valley Gilgit,Hunza valley and Azad kashmir largely due to his recommendation. I live in South Africa and am of Indian origin and my love for Urdu is profound.Though Shahid is fluent in english I often asked him to switch to Urdu to polish my Urdu.we long to be back in Pakistan more so because of Shahid.
