While talking to some friends back in 2013, we had this amazing idea of climbing the Kilimanjaro and getting to the summit at the 1st of January of 2014! It was a great way to start the new year! The plan was there and it's becoming to reality was even more awesome.

We searched for recommendations online and at the end we decided to climb it with a pretty good referenced team, which had also a very good quality/money ratio. Kimicho was our tour guide, and he was tireless. He was always on our side and share his knowledge with us. I think he, and his team, were also a life lesson to us. This experience teach you that as in the mountain, during your journey you will find different challenges, scenarios and atmospheres. If you stick together, keep a positive mind, respect the advice from the knowledgeable (the guide!) and focus on take one step at a time... pole pole... you will get where you dream to be.

Fredrickruben is one of the most supportive guide I have met! He took his time to explain and respond all our questions.

He is very encouraging and will not let you down. We climbed Kilimanjaro via Lemosho route in 7 days, and each was perfect!  Even though the weather was not great he made the best of it!

He kept repeating "walk slowly, drink a lot and keep a positive mind!" I dont think we would have be this succesful without him.

We climbed Kili in September 2016 with Ramadan and we truly enjoyed it! There were 9 of us and we all liked the tour, the guide was very reliable, with a very good sense of humour, great experience highly recomended for everyone enjoying the mountains :)

Even if I write one book with 1000 pages about Fredrickruben, I can not be fair about him. He was the best guide that I ever had in my travels. He is a humble guy, and he knows a lot, he is very wise and he keeps studying in order to improve himself. When I went to kilimanjaro, the guy for who he worked to, told me that he was his best guide, and for me it was wonderfull. I think that if I went with another guide, I wouldn't be able to climb kilimanjaro, and have not enjoyed so much.

I was always safe, I had never afraid and I trust him my life. He his a wise leader, all of his team was wonderful to my group. When my group finished our kilimanjaro journey, we invited Ramadan to have dinner with us, and he took us to a restaurant to taste tanzanian food (he didn't have to do it) but he show us moshi.

When I return to kilimanjaro I will call him again.
