We had a really short trip to Sri Lanka and spent 3-4 days in the company of Dilan. Being seasoned travellers, we would not normally have taken a driver and would have travelled by public transportation instead - but we wanted to cover quite a bit in the short time that we had. We started off Colombo-Galle and spent the night there, then to Ella (one night), to Kandy (one night) and back to Colombo where he dropped us off at the hotel we had reserved. 

Dilan is very relaxed and cheerful - it's not an easy job that he does and we had many km to cover in one day, but he's always smiling. Extremely resourceful and flexible - he found a shorter route from Galle to Ella when we decided to skip the safari at Yala National Park. He's also a very safe driver and does not take unnecessary risks - but he does not dawdle on the roads either. He offered us little tidbits about the places we were driving past and he's also a great conversationalist. He's responsible, punctual and loves his job.  

Although we had our own transport to the airport on the last day of our trip, he still called us to check that we were ok. If you are short on time or is someone who enjoys travelling with a guide and driver on a personalised tour, then Dilan is a good choice. He's concerned for the safety of his guests and wants to make sure that you enjoy your trip. He speaks English relatively well and is a kind soul.

Dilan is the guide, driver and friend through our seven days trip. I only have a little time preparing this time, so I'm concerned about the unexpected. But it's lucky to have him accompanying us. He's friendly, trustworthy, and passionate about his job. He always says he's a server and he wants to give good services to his clients. I think that's true and we have a wonderful time together. What's more, his driving skill is excellent. 

Sri Lanka is an exceptionally beautiful place to experience different landscapes. And if you're looking for someone to give you some advice or to help you finish the journey, I will recommend Dilan with all my heart. 

7天的旅行Dilan已经成为我们在斯里兰卡最好的朋友，他带我们去著名的景点，吃当地的特色食物，介绍当地文化，还带我们去便宜的商店买东西。Dilan是佛教徒他很善良友好，总是和我们开玩笑很幽默，爱照相特别爱用美颜相机照相，还有他只吃鸡肉，对佛教很虔诚，不杀生，见到寺庙马上双手合十祈祷。他在斯里兰卡有很多朋友，我们的大小问题他都能帮忙解决，很耐心负责，是一个好司机好导游更是好朋友！下次来斯里兰卡还有找Dilan!
