Damith joined us for the last 9 days of the trip. We ha Salanda as our driver . Damith was very entertaining and had a vast knowledge about the histrory of sri Lanka. We wre six in our party and every one got along well with him. He has got nice sense of humour. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and as we werre vegetarians he made sure we got the right food everywhere we went. He speaks very good english and is very easy to understand him. We managed to see lots of extra things like the blow hole etc which we did not have in our itenierary. If I were to visit Sri Lanka again I would make sure that he is my guide.  I will definately recommand him as a tour guide to any one I know who wish to travell to Sri Lanka

. Great Knowledge of the sites to visit.

A friend and I recently engaged Damith and a driver, Sam to escort and guide us during a three week visit to Sri Lanka.

   Damith proved to be an absolute gem. His knowledge of Sri Lanka is excellent and he is justifiably very proud of his beautiful country. Our particular interest was in the ancient sites like Polonnaruwa, Sigiriya and Anuradhapura. Damith showed a great knowledge of the history of these sites. He was equally knowledgable when we visited seaside areas Negombo and Trincomalee and the last independant capital, Kandy.

  Unfortunately our plans did not run as smoothly as we had hoped and my companion fell ill with pneumonia. It was here that Damith really showed his mettle. He was patient and resourseful. He knew where to find competent medical assistance and unfortunately a hospital where my friend spent three days. 

We could not have been happier with the quality of the service and care we received from Damith.

He and his partner were so helful in every moment. Thery were alway on time and ready for us. None of our group has a complain about them. They were also really kind and sociable. Really easy to comunicate with them and keep a nice conversation about whatever issue. We were 15 days in Sri Lanka and 9 of them with Dam so we can compare him with others guides that we crossed in pur trip and we have to say that he was the best in distance. :) My best wisses
