Spending time travelling with Dam is amazing. He is so considerate and funny. During the tour, we have experienced way more than we have expected and planned. Dam is so highly-motivated who would grab every chances to explain more!  I love the way he explain everything, the history, the local culture, life and historial sites of SriLanka. His explanation is so clear and he is always patient to repeat or answer my questions.

Apart from going to the place we hope to see, Dam is so flexible as he always gave us suggestions or list of some choices as a friend in order to make our trip more comprehensive! I appreicate how Dam is so considerate. Long story short, our car pass by a playground in which SriLankan were holding some competetions like Tug of War because of the coming New Year Holiday. I just cant stop watching in the car. That time, we are heading to our next site but Dam still instatly ask me whether I wanna join and see their local games. Then, we spent around 15 minutes to stay and watch the competition. I am so happy that I could have a sudden chance to witness their really local activity.

Hey Dam, thanks you so much for caring and guiding us these days. As I have said, I saw your talent to be a excellence tour guide. I wish you all the way success. But remember to sleep and rest more for yourself :)

"If Some People Meet The Person Called Dam It Maybe The Greatest Luck That They Can Have In Their Life"

Reviewed March 7, 2018

The best way to see Sri Lanca is to take a guide with a a car for you travelling. We had only 4 days there and very difficult programm with many places to visit - Colombo, Pinnawala, Dambulla, Sigiriya, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Ella.  Before our holiday we found a local guide who decied by himself the whole plan for our journey - ok, we agreed,  with no disputes, and that was our greatest luck!)

Colombo, early morning. After the evening spent with the driver of tuk tuk, that was not good in english, we met smart dressed guy in white sunglasses with bright smile, perfect spelling - Dam, also there were driver Sam and Lexis minivan Cobra style. Our guide and our new friends)

We were ready to everything - unknown country, unknown people, lots of difficulties in communication and so on. But we were wrong! We just couldn't imagine before that someone could organise our holiday in such beautiful way.  In a hurry to be in time everywhere that day - elephant foundation, mountain beside Sigiriya and some other places - but Dam didn’t push us up, there was enough time for taking numerous fotos, orange coconuts and little story about elephant’s poo.  "Problem solver" is his second name: finding swedish cider in Sri Lanca - ok, don't worry, organizing table in the most popular restaurant - very simple, go on!)

It took us just several hours to understand that our journey would be unforgetable.  All excursions were perfectly organized, we had best seats on the dance show in Kandy, some devices to make a wish in the temple, very special tickets on the train to Ella, beuatiful pictures of the elephant procession as gifts. In every cafe Dam and Sam did their best to arrange everything in the top way - roti, kottu and other strange dishes were quite tasty - no onion, no spicy - no problem! Sam even washed dishes to achieve such relationships with the stuff) They went with us everywhere in the evening to protect us from negative surprises. Kilometr by the railway rails to the hotel in mountains - no problem, it free of charge!) It was the first time when a guide was interested just in people's comfort and not in his own profit - not even a hint in trying to cheat, just to make life happier)

No exaggeration, friendship was in the air - with those guys and even with our avto Cobra. It needs another one special big post. Just mention, that we were ready to take this car with us home.  We understood each other like if we spoke on our native languages - discussing politics, religion, people and other serious things. And of course - jokes, last day was full of good ones - Sam and cobra dance in Moscow underground, biscuits with blue supphires and so on)Many thanks for the wonderful time in Sri Lanka! We'll never forget you, guys! Waiting for your visit in our winter city - Moscow)

We had a great time in Sri Lanka. We always felt very welcome and understood. Dam did everything to make our stay comfortable and easy going. Every wish was immediately looked after, nothing got forgotten. Most important too, we always felt very safe! Sam is a great driver, never ever challenging any situation. We travel quite a lot and have visited lots of countries but in Sri Lanka we felt as if we could stay forever.  Thanks again Dam and Sam to make our holiday really special with wonderful memories of a real "Wonder of Asia".

Best guide and tour you could have in Sri Lanka

      Reviewed February 23, 2018

The tour that we did with Dam was amazing! We just had 7 days and lots of places that we wanted to visit and Dam organized a perfect plan for that! Besides that he’s really nice and took care of all our needs and wishes to make  sure that everyone was happy. We learned so much about the history and culture of Sri Lanka because Dam provided us many explanations about what we visited or even about the country’s society. He also arranged many different activities like going on a Safari,  doing Rafting or watching a show with the traditional dances in Kandy. He even made sure that we could try different kinds of typical food from the country, for example, he brought us to the place where he had the best kottu, he stopped in the middle of a village in order to try the best curd or in the middle of a road to try woodapple. He also arranged a tour to a small village in the middle of nowhere, for us to feel how is living in those areas far away from the city! And we even had a great lunch there! So everything about this tour was great! the tour couldn’t have been better, it was one of the best tours I’ve had and Dam is definitely the best guide you could have if you’re thinking about going to Sri Lanka!
