Summiting Kilimanjaro was a life changing experience. The guides were unbelievable. I had personal attention when I needed it. Martin encouraged me when I was tired, pushed me when I needed to go further, and celebrated with me when we reached the top. I couldn't have made it without him. The whole trip was a great success because he knew that I could summit - and made sure that I did. The logistics were handled perfectly. From pickup at the airport to hotels to tents and meals on the mountain; everything was flawless

I first went on a wildlife safari with Tanzania Joy Tours and then later went on a climb up Kilimanjaro with them. Both trips were excellent. To focus on the Kili climb, my guide was marvelous. He was entertaining, patient, positive, and VERY supportive and motivational. I can't say enough good things about him and the rest of the crew at Tanzania Joy Tours. It was clear they liked what they were doing and wanted all of us to make it safely to the summit. The food was plentiful and very tasty (a welcomed surprise on top of a mountain and after a long day of trekking). The owner of Tanzania Joy Tours, Emmanuel, is very friendly, knowledgeable, and was helpful in making sure we were properly outfitted for the climb. He is obviously very well liked and respected by his guides and the many porters working on Kilimanjaro -- a great testament to him and to the way Tanzania Joy Tours does business and treats its employees. I had heard lots of positive things about Tanzania Joy Tours which is why I booked my trips with them and I'm very glad I did. They were wonderful! I highly recommend Tanzania Joy Tours. In fact a co-worker of mine recently climbed Kili with Tanzania Joy Tours based on my recommendation and he was also very glad he did. I hope to return to Tanzania next summer and will definitely again book my safari with Tanzania Joy Tours
