Mustapha, a really extraordinary guide!

Reviewed February 2, 2018

Our family of four (including adult sons) participated in a week-long, small-group, varied trip in Morocca. Mustapha was our guide and we were incredibly impressed by him. He was key to our extremely positive experience – unfailingly upbeat and patient, and very learned about his country (and many other topics). He encouraged a fun atmosphere, introduced us to ideas we would not have thought of, like wearing a turban on our camel rides, performed traditional Berber songs one evening with his friends (and offered anyone who wanted to drum to have a go),  and much more. Throughout, he was courteous and energetic. Our family has used guides in many countries and can honestly say Mustapha is the best!

You will get more enjoyment from your trip with Mustapha.

I did a 15 day guided tour of Morocco this year and I can tell you that Mustapha is the best Moroccan guide you will find. He is exceptionally well versed in every aspect of Morocco (culture, customs, various cities and historical sites, architecture, art, crafts, language) and has such passion for his country and imparting knowledge of it to others. I got 10 times the value out of my trip, because of his knowledge and explanations. Mustapha is definitely not your average "lecture you on this or that" guide. In particular, learning words and phrases in Berber (another language he does not have listed) added a wonderful extra dimension to my trip, as I found the language is so tied to the culture. Courteous, professional, thoughtful, and observant, I felt 100% safe at all times. He catered to the special interests of clients, always ensuring that people walked away with the best experience. Mustapha is equally interested in getting to know his clients and learn about their country/culture, as well! You will walk away from your trip with a pretty exceptional lifelong friend. Whether you are planning a city tour, hard-core trekking, 1-day excursion, or an extended visit, I highly recommend you book with Mustapha!

Such a Great Guy!

Mustapha was a really amazing guide for our small group touring Morocco for about two weeks this past April. From the moment we met him, I felt completely comfortable and knew that our experience would be outstanding. His enthusiasm for his home country, and for tourism in general is contagious. He is at once extremely friendly, but completely professional; clearly well-liked by people we encountered all over Morocco who seem to know him; engaging, interested in almost literally everything anyone might want to talk about, and able to provide a challenging and fun experience for the most intrepid hikers, while at the same assuring the comfort and enjoyment of the older or less able among us. I recommend him without reservations to anyone seeking an in-depth personal experience from a knowledgeable and personable native guide. You will leave his country with not only wonderful memories, but also a wonderful new friend!

Highlights of morocco

I recently spent a few weeks in morocco traveling through several different cities. Mustapha was my guide for the duration of my stay in morocco. He has excellent English so it was easy to interact with him. He was born and raised in morocco so he was a wealth of knowledge regarding local customs, traditions, history and culture. He is also Berber which offers a unique insight into their culture as well. I found Mustapha to be very approachable and friendly. He always went the extra mile to ensure you were having a full and excellent experience! I would recommend him to anytime traveling to morocco and I hope to go back and see him again.
