It was indeed a great tour given by Beka and will definately choose him again should I decide to explore. Great personality and very helpful, energetic, knowledgeable and informed about the areas.

My experience with Beka was different than that with a typical tour guide. I had contacted him to help me have a papyrus reed boat built for an expedition down the Blue Nile.

What first seemed like an easy task soon became a nightmare for Beka, requiring multiple trips between Addis and Bahar Dar, and increasingly panicked emails from me. Throghout it all, Beka assured me that he would take care of it, and he did. His philosophy is that word is bond, and he lives by that. He is conscientious, pleasant, and flexible. Five stars.

I contacted Beka with a challenging request to help us in building a tour in the south Omo River Valley which allowed meto get closer to the tribes, taking pictures but also understanding Ethiopia.  He customized the tour based on my interests and also being so flexible to change it to make us even happier. I would reccomend him for your trip in Ethiopia and enjoy an amazing country, its food and people!

Definitely the best choice.  We've just returned from a week tailor-made trip to Danakil, and I have to admit that from the very first moment everything was perfect.  I really value his  great knowledge (Beka is an antropologist and has immense knowledge in ethnography), fluent English, not to mention unmatched flexibility. Beka makes not only excellent guide, but first and foremost a great companion!
