My husband and I had the pleasure of exploring Bukhara with the wonderful guide Makhliyo on a private tour, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the very beginning, Makhliyo was incredibly communicative and helpful—she assisted us not only with planning the tour but also with the logistics of getting to Bukhara, which made everything so much easier. She knows the city deeply and passionately, sharing fascinating legends and stories that brought the history of Bukhara to life. We visited beautiful mosques, madrasas, caravanserais, and even got to watch local artisans at work, which was a highlight in itself. The tour ended with a lovely lunch in a peaceful spot—perfect after a day full of discoveries. Makhliyo's warmth, knowledge, and attentiveness made this experience so special. I had a fantastic day touring Bukhara with Makhliyo (Max). She provided door to door service from Navoi to Bukhara and we had a great day. Her English is excellent and she has extensive knowledge of the local history. Now that the tour is over, I would like to say that she could be classified as one the best tour guides in that region. She has extensive knowledge of the architecture and history of Bukhara which she explained to us during the tour. Apart from that, she took care of food recommendations, shopping and any local help which we needed at Bukhara. She even took us to a very colourful and splendid cultural show on one evening which we feel should not be missed by any traveller. She is absolutely punctual in timings and communication in English is perfect

Makhliyo was our tour guide for two days and we had a great time with her. It was almost a last-minute trip and despite the short notice, she was able to make our schedule for our entire stay in almost no time (including a very late pick up from the train station).

Right from the beginning, we were able to establish a good connection, mostly because of the outgoing personality, it felt as if we were long-time friends.  Her knowledge of the city itself, as well as its history and the small details, is amazing and very illustrative. While doing the city tours, she kept sharing little interesting past and present facts as we were walking around, this made us understand more the importance and history of the country and the richness of its culture.

**Due to the very hot weather at the time, we had to improvise a little and make some changes on the fly which she was able to handle with ease and to come up with multiple variants for us. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Makhlyio as your next tour guide, you'll be in for a great time.
