I picked the 6-day jungle lodge. I was very excited about the trip, and the guide only made it better. He was very nice, funny, and has a very good knowledge of the Amazon. The river, the jungle, surviving, .... Samir is one of the most entertaining and learnful guides I've ever had, definitely recommended! If you do the tour, and he's your guide, you are in for a great experience! Besides that, his English was great! He explains everything in a very good way. 11/10

Samir guided me through the Amazon jungle with great skill, knowledge and expertise. Above his craft though, he sought to connect with me as an individual. Samir is now a valued friend who I respect and value. I'm so grateful for his passion as a guide and our spiritual connection. 

I enjoy the Amazon and have visited 4 times.  On my last trip, I met with Samir "Sammy" after a peacock bass trip.  I had a few extra days in Manaus and had a list of things I wanted to do.  Sammy made sure we were able to see the things that was on my list and even suggested a few other great things to see with some of the time between events. Rio Negro, Juma River, Presidente Figueiredo were great places to visit but if you have time check out Sammy's City tour as well.  It was well worth it especially if you are visiting with young kids. My Portuguese isn't very good but that is not a problem with Sammy because his English is excellent.  I have visited the Amazon with several guides and have even been abandoned by a very popular Amazon guide.   I was well taken care of by Sammy and consider him one of the best guides I have encountered and I plan on using his services on my future visits.  I have the most confidence in him and have no problem recommending him.  I hope you get to see and enjoy the Amazon and all it has to offer with Sammy, you may find yourself leaving the Amazon with a new friend.

Samir was the best tour guide I've had. I told him I only had a short period of time in Manaus, and he did as much as he could with me for the amount of time we had together. We eat great Amazonian food, he took me into the Amazon, we checked out the local animals, and much more. I honestly had great time. I can't wait to return, and when I do, I'm calling Samir for sure.

I can say that I left Manaus with great photos, memories, and more than a tour guide, I have found a great friend in Samir.
