We had a wonderful few days hiking with Andreas at Aurora. His passion for, and knowledge of nature in general is infectious. He explained the geological history of the various types of rocks and how they came to be where they are. He pointed out to us different plant species, and even tiny creatures like ants, spiders and beetles he had anecdotes about. Most interesting and informative, and I highly recommend him as a field guide. 

Andreas is a committed guide who shares his extensive knowledge in a relaxed and meaningful manner. He is equally at home with youngsters and adults. He covers many fields especially The Fynbos and other Flora, Fauna, Geology and Palaeontolog to name a few. He explores numerous areas in the greater Western Cape and leaves his groups wanting       more.  He also remains in touch with the needs of the group and helps people become in touch with the soul of the earth. Andreas was well orgonized and explained the route and how the day will unfold.  He was very informative about nature, he knew all the plants and gave us very interesting facts. We all loved the walk with him because of his friendliness, caring about the group and passion for nature.  His knowledge about astronomy was amazing and overall we had a fantastic trip with him.
