We had a wonderful time touring Sri Lanka with Chaminda from 23 ~ 28/Nov./2015, from Kandy, to Nuwara Eliya to Ella, then back to Kandy and finally to the airport. Below is the TOP 10 testimonial of his excellence service to us during our tour:

1. He is a SAFE driver. This is extremely important as he has to drive on the winding -hilly roads. We did not get car sick (motion sickness) during the long hours journey. And at times, the road conditions were not good, he drove slowly. He stopped to check with the locals or called the hotel to make sure he was on the right direction.

2. He was FLEXIBLE to adapt to our last minute request to visit Horton Plains. To allow us to visit there, he has to start the journey at 5am and drove in a poor condition and narrow roads.

3. He is very HARD WORKING. He joined us in all the long hours walk / trekking. The climb to mini Adam’s Peak, the 5km walk to the 9 Arch Bridge, the 4 hours walk to the World’s End and Baker’s Waterfall at Horton Plains!

4. He is very DEDICATED. He wants his clients to get the most benefit from his tour. He recommended the walk to the 9 Arch Bridge to see it up-close and had the chance to take beautiful photos with the train passing by the bridge. He took extra efforts to fulfil our needs.

5. He is very PROFESSIONAL. He offered his advice on the places to visit, best time to visit, prices of things / services and etc. He requested for our packed breakfast from the hotel; we were surprised to receive it from the hotel staff at 5am!

6. He is PUNCTUAL. Be it at 5am or the pickup at the train station… he was there waiting for us! Not only had he set the alarm clock for the 5am trip, he even had his wife to call him at 5am!

7. He is very COURTEOUS. He always asked us if we are ok with the place of attractions, the hotel stay, the food & etc. We shared lots of personal experiences and even personal goals in life.

8. He is very KIND and COMPASSION. Once, we passed by a handicapped boy who could not walk. The boy happened to be moving with his handicapped body towards the tea plantation (not begging). He stopped the car and gave the boy some money.

9. He is HONEST and HUMBLE. He hesitated to bring us to the simple places he had his meals until we insisted. That’s where we had the best “samosa” and had tea with “Jangerik” with a local price!

10. He is very JOVIAL. His laughs made the travelling fun and enjoyable!

Thank you very much, Chamida!

We wish you all the BEST!
