We spent eleven days with Leonard and visited the following places: Arusha, Tarangire, Manyara, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and even an authentic Massai village.

Leonard is an extremely welcoming and most friendly guide who made us feel comfortable right from the beginning of our trip. He gave us a most authentic Tanzanias experience and made us never feel like tourists.

As a guide, Leonard is extremely knowlegable and explains during the trip so many intersting things about animals, plants or culture in fluent English. Most outstanding are, however, his spotting skills. Leonard saw animals and had a sixth sense that more would appear out of the bush where other drivers would simply go past. At the same time, he is very respectul towards nature and would never hassle the game when finding the perfect foto spot. While watching the wildlife, Leonard gave us all the time we needed to engross in the experience, answered patiently all our questions, and accomodate a quick stop here or there for yet another picture of the scenic nature.

During the whole trip, he was super reliable and we felt safe at every moment even during heavy rain when driving on rough roads. When it came to our ideas during our stay, he was most forthcoming: When we were excited about fresh and authentic food, Leonard took us to a local market where we got fresh fruit and vegetable, we bought some chapati in a small village and then prepared and ate the most delicious fresh salad out in the bush. The other day, he found for us a volunteering organization, where we could talk with the locals about their work.

Leonard truly loves his country and is incredibly passionate about showing its beauty to people from all around the world. We whole-heartedly recommend to go on safari in Tanzania with Leonard. For us, he is the best possible guide and we very much looking forward to coming back one day and seeing more of the Tanzanian wildlife and nature together with him.

Thank you, Leonard, for being such a wonderful, kind and truly amazing travel companion. We came as tourists and left as friends.
