My daughter and I recently visited Jordan as part of a Middle East trip. We met Mamoun when he was our arranged guide to Petra. Mamoun demonstrated knowledge and an exceptionally kind and considerate heart. I was widowed less than a year ago and Mamoun took a special interest into making our excursion an event of a lifetime. As he listened to my story he asked me how I knew certain things about Jordanian culture. I explained that I had a very dear friend 30 years ago while I was a college student. He asked me this person's name and set about orchestrating an event that I will never forget and will always be grateful for. We spent 15 hours with Mamoun in the Wadi Rum desert and Petra. My daughter and I spent nearly 40 days in the Middle East and this was the absolute best experience of all!! At the end of the night, Mamoun asked Taylor and I to lunch the next day. He expressed that he wished to treat us to Munseff (the Jordanian national dish that I remembered so fondly). When Mamoun picked us up for lunch the next day, he handed me his cell phone, saying that someone wanted to speak with me. When I said hello I was stunned...on the other end was my dear friend and in fact, one of the great loves of my life. Mamoun had spent the entire day previously searching for my friend through his network of contacts and located my friend in Amman. To my total surprise my friend was on his way to Aquba to see me. After lunch, we met my old friend and his wife at a hotel. I had lost contact with him 30 years ago. I was overjoyed to reunite with him and meet his wife. My daughter was thrilled with the circumstances and adventure as well. Today, I am enjoying a renewed friendship that has greatly blessed my life. Without Mamoun going above and beyond the scope of his job, I would not have this blessing. So, my gratitude and praise go to Mamoun eternally. Simply put, Mamoun is the best! I would highly recommend his services to everyone! Kerri (from Colorado)
