Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arusha to Lake Manyara

   • Meet your local tour guide at your hotel for pick-up and transfer to Lake Manyara. 

   • Drive to Mto Wa Mbu, which is very close to Lake Manyara National Park.

   • Have dinner and stay overnight at Manyara Wildlife Safari Camp.

2. Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park to Karatu

   • Go on a full-day game drive in Manyara, which is famous for its tree-climbing lions. 

   • Admire its beautiful landscapes, see the Soda lake, the pink flamingos and then get to an adventurous activity on the Manyara Treetop Walkway high up along the forest canopy for a unique perspective of wildlife viewing. 

   • Drive to Karatu for your dinner.

   Overnight stay at Ngorongoro Farm House Lodge.

3. Day 3: Karatu to Serengeti National Park

   • Depart from Karatu and drive to Serengeti. 

   • Start your game drives right from the entrance towards Grumeti river, which supports the lush riverside forest. 

   • See the Nile crocodile prey upon thirsty animals and the snorting hippos after their night feeding. 

   • Have lunch at 12:30.

   • Continue game drives until the evening. 

   • Have dinner and stay overnight at Serengeti Heritage Camp.

4. Day 4: Full Day at Serengeti National Park

   • Journey to the well known Seronera river circuit that offers a good chance of spotting a leopard resting on tree branches during the day-time.

   • Get to see a large pride of lions that reside here. This river sustains water all year round making drinking and grazing land available for the resident species.

   • Drive to the lodge in the evening.

   • Have dinner and stay overnight at Serengeti Heritage Camp.

5. Day 5: Serengeti to Karatu

   • Begin an early morning game drive at 8:00 am and drive to Southern Serengeti. 

   • Depart from Serengeti and move to Karatu, which is very close to Ngorongoro Crater.

   • Have dinner and stay overnight at Ngorongoro Farm House Lodge. 

6. Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater

   • Go on a full-day game drive and get to observe the crater floor and see for yourself why it is one of the world's most astonishing and renowned natural wonders. 

   • Ascend from the crater in the evening and have your dinner.

   Overnight stay at Ngorongoro Farm House Lodge.

7. Day 7: Return to Arusha

   • Drive back to Arusha with optional stops on the way to purchase carvings.
