Ngorongoro Crater Safari
- Our guide will pick you up from your lodge at 5:00 a.m. in Arusha for a three-hour drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world's only unfilled, intact, and inactive volcano. This impressive crater is over 600 meters (2000 feet) deep. The Ngorongoro Crater has 20,000 larger mammals, small wild animals, and various bird species. The crater has a forest habitat home to buffalos, zebras, and herbivores. A variety of bird nests are also seen. You will spend a day in the crater and enjoy a picnic lunch.
