Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arusha ➝ Tarangire National Park

   • Begin the day with breakfast at your hotel in Arusha.

   • Meet your professional safari guide for a briefing on the journey and safety guidelines.

   • Depart for Tarangire National Park, enjoying a 2 to 3-hour scenic drive through rural landscapes and Maasai villages.

   • Enter Tarangire National Park and embark on an exciting afternoon game drive.

   • Observe large herds of elephants, baobab trees, and a variety of birds and animals including lions, giraffes, and antelopes and later enjoy lunch at breathtaking site.

   • Drive to your designated public campsite as the sun begins to set.

   • Settle into your dome tents and enjoy a freshly prepared dinner under the stars. Finally spend the night at the public campsite inside Tarangire National Park.

2. Day 2: Tarangire ➝ Serengeti National Park

   • Start your day with a warm breakfast

   • Pack up and begin the journey to Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

   • Stop for a packed lunch at a picturesque viewpoint overlooking the plains before entering Serengeti National Park in the afternoon and begin your game drive in the Seronera Valley.

   • Search for predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs as well as zebras, wildebeest, and gazelles.

   • Later arrive at your public campsite in Central Serengeti by evening. Unwind and enjoy dinner prepared by the camp crew. Finally spend the night at the public campsite in Central Serengeti.

3. Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

   • Begin the day with a pre-dawn game drive to maximize chances of seeing predators in action after having a warm and refresh cup of tea

   • Hence spend the full day exploring the Serengeti plains, guided by wildlife movements and seasonal migration routes.

   • Focus your game drives on the Western Corridor (in June) to witness massive herds and potential river crossings.

   • Later enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness surrounded by grazing herds and predators.

   • Continue the afternoon game drive to discover new territories and species.

   • Return to your campsite in the evening where you'll dine and relax around the campfire, sharing the day’s highlights under the African night sky.

4. Day 4: Serengeti ➝ Ngorongoro Conservation Area

   • Wake early for a final game drive in Serengeti National Park before enjoying breakfast at the camp 

   • Drive through the Seronera area, searching for any species you may have missed then later descend towards the crater

   • Spend the afternoon witnessing flamingoes and the big five before stopping for lunch along the route with scenic views.

   • Later ascend into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and arrive at your crater rim campsite in the afternoon.

   • Admire the breathtaking panoramic views of the Ngorongoro Crater.

   • Dress warmly and prepare for a cooler night at higher elevation.

   • Enjoy dinner at the campsite and settle in for the night. Spend the night at the public campsite on the Ngorongoro Crater rim.

5. Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Safari & Return to Arusha

   • Begin the day with an early breakfast.

   • Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive.

   • Explore one of the most wildlife-rich regions in Africa, home to the rare black rhino and other members of the Big Five.

   • Observe large herds of zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, elephants, lions, and hippos.

   • Enjoy a picnic lunch at the hippo pool inside the crater.

   • Ascend from the crater floor in the early afternoon.

   • Drive back to Arusha through the scenic highlands.
