I am a mountain guide based in Brașov, Romania.Transylvania is my home, and I have been guiding here for over 10 years.Hiking was the activity that first introduced me to the mountains when I was young, and it is where my love for them started.Today, my main focus remains on outdoor activities.Around Brașov, I plan short day trips for both hiking and biking.I know the local trails by heart and cover all types of riding, from cross-country and e-biking to technical tracks, flow trails, and scenic routes.On the bike, I don't just guide; I also help riders improve their skills and technique on the [sensitive content]yond the local area, I arrange trips across the highest mountains in Romania.This includes long-range, multi-day hiking trips that involve backcountry camping—including traversing the Făgăraș ridge, the longest alpine ridge in the country.I also guide routes that involve scrambling and basic climbing using minimal equipment.In the winter, the focus shifts to the snow, where we can plan cross-country and backcountry skiing trips.While the main focus is always on the physical experience and the trails, I weave in local culture and history to give context to the regions we visit.My tours are straightforward, safe, and focused on the real outdoor experience.
