    • Start the full day at 09:00 am with a pick-up at your hotel and head to northern Portugal, Alto Minho. This region is well known for its vineyards and green wines, fantastic views and historic sites.
    • Go to the beautiful Barcelos town, well known for its most famous symbol of Portugal, the colourful ceramic cockerel, which according to local legend, it is reputed to have saved the life of a traveller wrongly accused of theft by crowing his innocence. 
    • Visit its lovely historic center, where you will find the traditional handicraft. 
    • Proceed to the amazing city of Viana do Castelo with your Portugal tour guide. This jewel of the Costa Verde is blessed with both an appealing medieval centre and lovely beaches just outside the city. 
    • Explore the historic center and its medieval streets. 
    • Reach the top of Mount Santa Luzia to admire the Basilica inspired by the Sacré Coeur de Montmartre in Paris. From the basilica's location, there are spectacular views of the city and the beach. 
    • Head to Ponte de Lima. This beautiful rural village is considered the oldest village in Portugal. 
    • Check out the historic center, admire its antique buildings set along the banks of the Lima River and its striking stone arch bridge. 
    • Return to Porto and drop off at your hotel (around 06:00 pm).
