Embark on a full-day biking tour to Paucartambo, visiting different archaeological centres of Cusco along the way. Ride through the Andean mountains to Watoqto and explore the Archaeological Center of Watoqto, while also experiencing local customs before reaching Paucartambo. There, discover the beautiful temples and the white colonial streets with blue balconies that are typical of the town.

Day 01

Mountain Biking Adventure to Paucartambo

After your pickup at 6:00 am, we will begin our journey towards the province of Paucartambo, heading to the community of Kucya.
From here, we will take the road to the community of Mikaypata, Annex Sayllakalla, and continue to Abra Cancha Cancha.
At the abra, we will have breakfast and begin our adventure. Enjoy a beautiful landscape surrounded by inter-Andean valleys and mountains, with views of the snow-capped peaks of Ausangate, Salkantay, and Qolqapunku.
Next, we will begin our descent to the community of Mikaypata along a dirt road, where we can take a break and experience the customs of the local community.
Continue towards the town of Inca Paucar. From here, we will take the detour to the Watoqto "Muyu Muyu" viewpoint, a strategic point that offers a spectacular view of the area.
We will continue descending until we reach Watoqto, where we will visit its archaeological centre.
Here, we will stop for lunch, take a short break, and then continue our journey to the province of Paucartambo.
In Paucartambo, we will tour its temples and stroll through its colonial streets, known for their white colour and blue balconies typical of the town.
Finally, we will return to Cusco by bike.
