Full-Day Ausangate 7 Lakes Tour Itinerary
- Pick up guests early in the morning from their hotel in Cusco.
Depart from Cusco in a comfortable private van for a scenic 3.5-hour drive to the community of Pacchanta, located at 4,200 meters above sea level.
Arrive at Pacchanta and enjoy a hearty breakfast to prepare for the day’s trek.
Receive a briefing from the guide about the route, safety measures, and what to expect during the hike.
Begin the trek into the Vilcanota Mountain Range, home to the Ausangate Glacier and its stunning turquoise glacial lakes.
Hike for approximately 3.5 hours uphill, visiting each of the Seven Lakes, including Otorongo Macho, Otorongo Hembra, Puca Cocha, Alqa Cocha, Ccomer Cocha, Azul Cocha, and Pata Cocha.
